We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically when you use the Platform.

Information You Provide

• Inquiry and contact forms: Name, email address, phone number, company name, offer amount, and any message you submit when inquiring about a domain or submitting an offer.
• Installment plan applications: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and financial information necessary to establish and manage a payment plan for a domain purchase.
• Seller account information: If you register as a seller on the Platform, we collect your name, email, company information, payout details (such as Stripe Connect account identifiers), and any settings you configure for your shop(s).
• Communications: Any correspondence you send us directly by email or through the Platform.

Information Collected Automatically

• Log data: When you visit any Platform page, our servers automatically record information including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors interact with the Platform. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some Platform features may not function correctly without them.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 and Statcounter to collect aggregated, anonymized information about Platform usage. These services may set their own cookies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more information.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your domain inquiries and offer submissions, and route them to the appropriate seller for follow-up.
• Process and manage installment payment plans, including issuing payment confirmations and reminders.
• Communicate with you about the status of your inquiry, offer, or purchase.
• Send transactional emails relating to your interactions with the Platform (e.g., offer received, payment confirmation). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features.
• Monitor Platform security and prevent fraud or abuse, including through reCAPTCHA Enterprise (Google). reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Domain sellers: The Platform hosts listings from PixelWorks Media as well as third-party sellers. When you submit an inquiry or offer on a domain, the listing seller will receive your contact information (name, email, phone, and message) so they can respond. Sellers agree, as a condition of using the Platform, to use this information only to respond to your inquiry and not for any other marketing purpose.
• Payment processors: When you complete a purchase or initiate an installment plan, payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy.
• Service providers: We use third-party service providers to help operate the Platform, including SendGrid for transactional email delivery, Google for reCAPTCHA and analytics, Cloudflare for DNS, and DigitalOcean for hosting. These providers access your information only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers: If PixelWorks Media is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

For transactions processed through the Platform's in-house checkout, PixelWorks Media acts as the merchant of record. This means your payment is processed by us, your payment statement will reference PixelWorks Media, and we are responsible for refund handling and tax compliance where applicable. The seller of the underlying domain may be a third party, but the payment relationship is between you and PixelWorks Media. Where a domain links to an external checkout (such as Dan.com or Escrow.com), the third-party service is the merchant of record and that transaction is governed by their privacy and refund policies.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiries, manage active purchase agreements, and comply with our legal obligations. Inquiry and offer records are generally retained for a minimum of three years. Transaction records are retained for at least seven years for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8), subject to these retention obligations.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include HTTPS encryption for all Platform traffic (with per-domain SSL certificates issued via Let's Encrypt), rate limiting on form submissions, reCAPTCHA challenge scoring, and restricted access to systems containing personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including domain registrars and escrow services used in domain transactions (such as Dan.com or Escrow.com). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Opt-out of analytics: You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date.
